Welcome

The Quiet Storm Foundation, a public, non-profit corporation created by NBA player CJ Watson and his family, aims to provide positive educational and recreational opportunities to youths, particularly those who are disadvantaged. We encourage and motivate children to read, help children develop the foundational skills they need to become good readers, distribute books to children and encourage them to start home libraries, and provide reading instruction for parents in family literacy programs.

We provide academic scholarships, educational incentives, books, special events, field trips, tickets, toys, clothes, and more. Our outreach programs will, with time, extend to many areas around the world.

One of our major events every year is sponsoring the Hoops for Hope program. Hoops for Hope is a community program held with youths in Las Vegas each year.
