2017 Black History Essay Contest: Sponsorship and Donor Support

Dear Friends:

We will hold our 8th annual Black History Essay Contest in January and February of 2017.

For seven years, we have endeavored to provide educational, health, wellness, and leadership programs to the young people of the Las Vegas and Clark County communities. We could not continue to do so – to put-on programs, like the Essay Contest, intended to impact positive change on area children – without the ongoing support of local community champions and partners like you.

We hope that your spirit of giving during the Holidays, and into the New Year, will extend to the Quiet Storm Foundation, because we are in genuine need of your help and financial support to raise the funds necessary to meet the financial requirements for this year’s Essay Contest.

Our total fundraising goal, which includes covering the costs and expenses to take local Essay Contest winners to a national awards event in Orlando, Florida from February 24-26, is $25,000. We have attached a one-page document outlining the various sponsorship packages and support opportunities. However, we are also happy to design unique packages to meet your individual needs.

The deadline for sponsorship submissions is Friday, January 20, and because the Quiet Storm Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3), all of your financial contributions and donations are 100% tax deductible.

Please contact us at the phone number or email address below to discuss sponsorship and donation opportunities.

Happy Holidays,
